The estate has a 7 km front (4.3 miles) on National Route 9, which divides the field in two parts, one at the East of the road, which has 2081 ha (5.015 acres) and other at the West with 1559 ha (3.757 acres). It is at 12 km (7.5 miles) km from the city of Trancas and at 59 Km (37 miles) from he city of San Miguel del Tucumán Elevation: Between 700 and 900 m above sea level (2,296 and 2,952 feet). | | SIZE | 3,640 ha (8,772 acres). | | DESCRIPTION | Improvements and characteristics: House for the manager, house for the foreman and 4 houses for workers. Metallic closed shed, 15x45 m (50 x 150 feet) with a complete workshop and 2 storerooms. A closed sector to manufacture balanced foods, with two mills and 1 mixer. Two complete corrals with chute, operations stall, loader, scale for cows and dip vat Monophasic and triphasic electrical connection Direct access through paved road. Reinforced concrete bridges in the channels Internal roads with good transit and easy maintenance. The internal and perimetral wire fences amount 150 km which are permanently maintained. | | APTITUDE | Rainfall: 500mm/year Agriculture with irrigation, cattle farming. The estate has 900 ha with permanent pasture, gatton panic, green panic, buffer grass, etc.; 300 ha with permanent pastures partially invaded by arbustive renewals; it is estimated in 1,200 ha the area suitable for rolling the forest and further pasture implanting. To date (February 2008) there are some 1000 bovine heads (700 cows, 160 heifers, 100 calves, 50 bulls and young bulls) as well as 30 horses. |
