There are three farmyards, as follows: 1) 1st farmyard: it comprises main house, staff quarters, shearers´ accommodation; shearing barn, pens, chutes and bath for sheep. 2) 2nd farmyard: located south of the farm, fully updated. 3) 3rd farmyard: situated at the Salado creek, in need of restoration. It features a unused drill. Fences: the property is perimeter fenced with 6 wires. A 5 wire cross-fence separates 10 fields. Tracks cover the whole property and allow an easy access to the sections. In addition, they serve as firelanes. Water is supplied by a system of dams (18), drills (3) and cisterns (4), as well as a fresh water creek. The dams have been cleaned and refurbished. The drills are in operation, each one featuring a windmill and a stock-tank. Regarding the cisterns, they are located close to the main farmyard. VEGETATION: Grasses: Bromus brevis, Hordeum comosum, Poa ligularis (coiron poa), Stipa tenuis, Poa lanuginosa, Stipa speciosa, Sporobulus rigenis (unquillo), Stipa umilis, festuca argentina. Bushes: Prosopis denudans (algarrobillo), Acantholippia seriphioides (tomillo), Grassauvia glomerulosa (cola de piche), Nassauvia spp. (uña de gato), Adesmia campestris (mamuel choique);Molinum spinosum (neneo); Schinos poligamus (molle); Nassauvia ulisina (manca perro);Trevoa patagonica (malaspina). WILDLIFE: Guanacos, hares, grey foxes, turtles, partridges and other species of wild birds thrive unmolested the land. Occasionally, pumas roam the land. EASEMENTS: The property records a gas pipeline easement by the companies Transportadora Gas del Sur S.A. (TGS) and Camuzzi Gas del Sur S.A., which generate a monthly canon for the owner. There is also an electrical power line easement by the provintial electricity company (Empresa de Energía de Río Negro –EDERSA–), who is presumed canon-free, according to the provincial law. A tender has been called to carry water to Sierra Grande. This farm will be getting water for cattle or irrigation through a disused gas pipeline that runs in front of the farm.
