It is in a high sanity area, ideal for garlic and other vegetables, vineyards and aromatic plants. The purity of the phreatic water coming from snow thawing, the special conditions of the area with its low humidity an important thermal differences, result in first quality products. The climate is convenient for agriculture because of the differentiation of the four seasons IRRIGATION: Vineyards with drop irrigation with self-compensating water droppers –NETAFIM. The extension of the furrows optimizes the cultivation and especially the harvest. During the growing cycle, the handling of fertilizers and pesticides is thoroughly controlled, according to international standards and those from the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (National Institute of Agricultural Technology). It is to highlight that most of the year the climate is sunny with mild cold southern winds, given by the altitude, which assure good sanitation and low use of agrochemicals, therefore protecting the ecosystem. All the system is operated by control panels and computerized operation. |
