Its main axis is oriented towards North-South. Its limit to the East is channel \"Cnel. Martin Irigoyen\", to the North is the brook \"Paraje Chico\", to the East by streams \"Las Garzas\" and \"Ñacurutu\" and to the South by fractions of adjoining fields. Its relief is flat to concave in all its surface, characteristic of the area where it is located, and featuring levels of height above sea level from 1 to 4 m in the higher parts of the field. FACILITIES AND IMPROVEMENTS: Tide interception: in the field there have been built elevations on the banks of the streams Arroyo Chiquero, Chiquerito, Alelí y Pje. Chico, along about 29 km, these elevations serve as contention barriers against the advance of the water in the event of flooding, and have three (3) door traps distributed strategically inside the perimeter. They consist of a double mechanism of worm gear and guillotine doors at the same time that work in the following way: when the streams or rivers of the area rise, these doors are closed automatically to prevent water from entering into the field. If the flow exceeds the elevations or if by effect of the rains flooding is produced within these sectors, the force of the water pushes on the doors with the objective of making them to open leaving out the water. Wire fences: the sector enclosed within these elevations is in turn subdivided into paddocks, with their respective fences built with Itin and Palo Blanco poles (Prosopis Nigra and Calycophyllum multiflorumol), every 10 m, (33 feet) with five curupay rods (Anadenanthera Columbrina) by clear and five strands of high resistance San Martín wire, in very good conditions of use and conservation. Facilities for cattle: full chute of about 10 m long, built with Lapacho tables (Tabebuia heptaphylla), composed of operations stall, head gate, 2- crossbar doors, bull pen, round corrals and pre-round corrals, also four (4) shut in corrals and two (2) sorting pens, built with \"Amarillo\" or \"Palo Blanco\" (Terminalia australis or Acacia willardiana), short or long, every 1 m and nine high strength wires, 3 of which are double and (3) large curupay rods. We also find in other sector of the corrals that the wire fences were built with posts separated every 3 meter (10 ft), and three curupay large rods per clear. These installations are y good condition of use and conservation. 1 loader with wharf to dock a raft | | APTITUDE | The grasslands of the Paraná Delta present a very wealthy flora which is a natural source of forage. These grasslands are the principal forage for different livestock systems of beef production (breeding, rearing and wintering) that develop in the region. Several species characteristics of the grassland are suitable for the good development of animal husbandry, insofar as they exceed the values of good quality forage crude protein and digestibility. Animal load, average: 0.70 U.G. Current Load (August 2011): Cows 480 Calves 330 Heifers 385 Steers 1970 Total: 3165 |
